Rollin’ Down The Rio is part momento of walking in southern Spain, part dedication to Sonny Rollins.
Lost For Words was previously featured on the LP of the same name by the Pete Hurt Orchestra
Eyore Chokes On His Thesaurus is affectionately dedicated to Will Self’s BBC Radio 4 opinion pieces on A Point Of View.
On Played Twice the first and third soprano sax solos are by Chris Biscoe, second solo by Pete Hurt.

Chris Biscoe performed on a King Silversonic alto sax built around 1972, with a Brancher L23 mouthpiece, a late production Yamaha YSS62R soprano sax with an ebonite Link 7, Leblanc Alto clarinet made in 2000 with Selmer HS** mouthpiece.
Pete Hurt played a Selmer Super Balanced Action tenor sax with ebonite Link 8* mouthpiece, Yamaha 62 soprano with ebonite Link 7.
